Facing Up to Climate Reality: Do We Have the Will? - 15th September

Dr Rupert Read, philosopher, teacher, author from the University of East Anglia is coming to the Panacea Museum in Bedford on Saturday September 15th at 2pm to give a talk entitled 'Facing Up to Climate Reality: Do We Have the Will?' as part of The Anthropocene: Of Our Own Making art exhibition and 'eco fair' . The event is free and open to all, and children will be most welcome too. There will also be a talk on palm oil from Greenpeace, Jo Atherton eco art, poetry on environmental themes, stalls on zero waste, community gardening, composting, plant swap table, sewing repair stall (don't throw away that which Ana might be able to repair), a Woodland Trust stall and, to be confirmed, Sustrans with their power generating bicycle.
