A busy summer of activities!

Over the coming months, there are lots of local organisations and groups running some exciting and thought-provoking activities for you to enjoy. Transition MK thought we would share some of the events we know about so you can get them into your diary!

Mini Cob Houses demonstration. £5 per cob house (can be shared)

Forest and Folk Botanicals Grand Opening Evening - 26th August
Forest and Folk, South Pavillion, Milton Keynes Arts Centre, Parklands, MK14 5DZ
Drop in anytime from 6pm
Enjoy botanically themed refreshments and relax in the garden with like minded folk. Browse the studio shop and find out more about community supported herbalism and our forthcoming launch of shares in the harvest. RSVP please. 

Forest and Folk Botanicals Foraging Walk with Forest and Folk - 28th August 
2pm-5pm 
Join them for a two hour foraging walk to learn about the kinds of medicinal and edible plants you can find on your doorstep. Back at the studio, we'll enjoy delicious botanical refreshments and nibble on some of the plants we gather.

Linford Manor Park in Great Linford
The event will include produce from local suppliers, farm shops and micro breweries, as well as street food, chef demonstrations and more.

MK Christmas FEAST - 11th December 2016
Bradwell Abbey
The festival will offer a Farmers Market, Street food trader, and craft producers inside the historical Cruck Barn and in the court yard of the Abbey.
