The Paris climate change talks start on 30th November this year. We are expecting and hoping for the governments of the world to make pledges and reach agreement on how to limit global warming to below 2 degC since pre-industrial times (1750) to avoid dangerous climate change.
We, the people from countries with high emissions, also need to play our part in reducing our greenhouse gas production and building up our renewable energy generation.
Carbon Conversations is a well researched and planned series of 6 sessions that enable groups of 6 to 8 people to become informed, discuss and take individual actions to lower their carbon footprint.
This event will be an introduction to how to transition from using mostly fossil fuel powered energy to using mostly renewable energy. Carbon Conversations will help anyone who is concerned about climate change and carbon reduction to understand their own powerful and ambivalent responses to the subject.
