The next Transition Conversation (formerly named the Ashlyn Conversations) is happening on the Tuesday 23rd September, at the Berkhamsted School's Dining Room - Kings Road and it is bound to be a an inspiring call to arms. The Transition Conversation will start at 7:00pm for food, provided by Dar Papillon, as well as cakes and tea, with the talk proper starting at 7:30pm.
This time around, we will have the privilege of receiving Mike Berners-Lee, renowned expert in carbon footprinting and writer of "How bad are Bananas: the carbon footprint of everything" and "The burning question" - two books that effectively demonstrate not only the urgency of dealing with carbon emissions but also the end result of the path we are currently taking. On the day of the UN climate summit, it will be interesting to speak to one of the world leading thinkers in the area of carbon mitigation.
We hope to see you there! Tickets can be bought here for £3/£1 concessions in advance (they will also be available at the door at the price of £5/£2). Click here to visit the website
