Dare to be Great - Eradicating Ecocide talk by Polly Higgins

Polly, the world’s leading authority on the law of Ecocide (the intentional destruction of the natural environment), has been hailed as one of the World’s Top 10 Visionaries by The Ecologist for her work on Earth Law and Earth Rights.

“I’ve set myself a challenge – to dare to be great. That’s a big challenge. I believe we all have the capacity for
greatness in us, all we need do is set the intent. The challenges that daring to be great brings are the
challenges that empower us to step up and speak out. Just imagine the world we will be in when many of us dare to be great.”

In her talk, Polly will speak about her work on Ecocide, and her driving challenge to herself – to dare to be great. There will be opportunity to find out what we can do, individually and as a community, to help prevent Ecocide.

The event will run from 7.30 pm - 9.15pm on 22nd January at Great Hall, Ashlyns School, Berkhamstead. For tickets visit http://transitionberkhamsted.org.uk/calendar/ashlyns-lectures OR call 01442 875964
